The majority of materials in this collection are rare and difficult, if not impossible, to replace should anything happen to them. Most libraries have certain collections that do not circulate in order to protect the materials from damage and loss.

The library does try to purchase a circulating copy of a book when feasible for the circulating collections.

If there is something in particular you wanted to borrow please contact Marynelle Chew at and she can help you with your options. If we cannot buy another copy, you could try making an inter-library loan request. Be sure to include in the loan request notes that our copy is non-circulating. If you don’t already have an inter-library loan account, you can create one here: Inter-Library Loan
